ATTICA — Funeral services for Orval B. Holycross Jr., age 39, of Indianapolis, former Veterans of Foreign Wars service officer for Fountain County, who died Thursday, June 3, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Shirley Brothers Drexel Chapel, with burial in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, both in Indianapolis. Mr. Holycross, who lived at 3009 Ashland Ave., Indianapolis, had been adjutant quartermaster in the VFW Indiana Department for the past 14 years. Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Maxine Holycross; two children; his father, Orval B. Holycross of Attica; his mother, Mrs. Lena Williams of Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. Annabelle Black of Attica; and one brother, Harold Holycross, also of Attica. --typed by Walt W
